Scope of o-carboranes and diaryl diselenides in C(1)-selenylation^a.

^aReaction conditions: 1 (0.10 mmol, 1.0 equiv.) reacted with 5 (1.2 equiv.) in the presence of PdCl₂ (5.0 mol%) in DMSO (0.5 mL, 0.20 M) at 60 °C for 6 h in a test tube.
