Patients characterized by one of the following: • ARDS. • Sepsis. • Septic shock. • Organ failure (ex, cardiac injury or acute kidney injury). • Need for mechanical ventilation (invasive or non-invasive) or vasopressor therapy. |
ARDS- stands for acute respiratory distress syndrome. SpO2- Peripheral oxygen saturation, an estimation of the oxygen saturation level.
