Cortisol (A) and glucose (B) levels were measured in the plasma of fish intraperitoneally treated with vehicle (VEH), cortisol (CORT), mifepristone (MIFE), eplerenone (EPLE), mifepristone plus cortisol (MIFE/CORT), eplerenone plus cortisol (EPLE/CORT). The results are expressed as a mean ± SEM, (n = 4). The “*” (p < .05) and “**” (p < .01) represent significant differences compared with the vehicle, mifepristone, eplerenone groups.
