COR	LOE	RECOMMENDATION
1	B-NR	1. In patients with a previous acute aortic dissection and IMH, whether initially treated medically or with intervention, who have chronic residual TAD and an aneurysm with a total aortic diameter of ≥5.5 cm, elective thoracic aortic repair is recommended.^1–4
