Effects of calcium carbonate microcapsules on physical properties of the 1%, 2%, and 5% calcium carbonate microcapsules-2% and 5% (w/v) nanohydroxyapatite-10% (w/v) β–glycerophosphate–4:1 (w/w) chitosan/collagen hydrogel (nHA–CaCO₃–chitosan/collagen). The concentrations of CaCO₃ were 1%, 2%, and 5%, and the concentrations of nHA were 2% and 5% (w/v), respectively. (A) Degrees of swelling of the hydrogels in phosphate buffer saline for 24 h and (B) degradation rates in a 1:1000 unit/mL lysozyme at 37 °C for 28 days.
