The 16 ns temporal separation equates to a MHz, whereas the 400 ps to a GHz repetition rate. The BiBurst mode is a combination of the MHz and GHz modes and produces several pulses temporally separated by 400 ps, which are grouped by identical trains spaced by 16 ns. The integrated energy per cycle is the same for all the different burst modes.
