One-year prevalence of adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder was defined as the proportion of individuals diagnosed at least once with adhesive capsulitis (ICD-10 code: M75.0) in 2021 among patients with at least one visit to their general practice in 2021. Lifetime prevalence of adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder was defined as the proportion of individuals diagnosed at least once with adhesive capsulitis in their whole medical history among patients with at least one visit to their general practice in 2021.
