Descriptive characteristics of 161 Latino mother-infant pairs from the Southern California Mother’s Milk Study. Data are reported as mean ± standard deviation (SD) unless indicated otherwise. Socioeconomic status (SES) is estimated based off the Hollingshead Four-Factor Index where missing values are replaced by median. Gestational age was based on time of delivery, which included on-time, early (≥ 2 weeks before due date), and late (≥ 2 weeks after due date)
