Experiment 2: Adolescent sleep was not altered after ELSD. There were no long-term effects of ELSD on measures of sleep fragmentation during early adolescence including arousal index (# arousals/total sleep time) (A), NREM average bout length (B), or REM average bout length (C). Adolescent females spent more time in wake than males (D) and less time in NREM (E) but these were not affected by the ELSD procedure.
