Stronger macrogliosis in CTGF and CTGF+ONA retinae. (A) Cross-sections were labelled with an antibody against anti-vimentin (green) to mark astrocytes and DAPI stained cell nuclei (blue). (B) The vimentin+ area was significantly increased in CTGF and CTGF+ONA retinae compared to WT as well as WT+ONA mice. (C) The mRNA expression levels of Vim was not changed in WT+ONA retinae, but a significant upregulation was noted in CTGF and CTGF+ONA retinae.
