L. plantarum was grown in microaerobic 3-chamber bioelectrochemical reactors for 3 h on an electrode poised at 0.2 V versus Ag/AgCl (3 M KCl) before the indicated concentration of riboflavin or DHNA was injected. Current density measurements were taken every 36 s for 24 h. Half-time was determined as 1/2 the time at which maximum current was achieved. Data are representative of 3 bioreactors.
