a In the acute treatment experiment, mice received i.p. injection of normal saline or NTG (10 mg/kg bodyweight) on day 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9. After 30 min of NTG injection, mice were given i.g. administration of normal saline or roxadustat (12.8 mg/kg bodyweight). Mouse was conducted tail flick (b and d) and PAM test (c and e). The basal responses (b and c) were recorded before NTG injection, while the acute responses (d and e) were recorded 2 h after NTG injection.
