Preliminary survey of MS¹ data to prioritize data processing and analysis of parent compounds. EIC of the parent compounds were used to assess (A) whether the parent compound was detectable and the quantity of potential metabolites within that dataset, and (B) the fold-change of the parent compound over the course of the experiment. Parent compounds that were detectable, had relatively high potential metabolite counts, and decreased over the course of the experiment were prioritized for metabolite identification.
