Abundance of each species before and after the 2016 fire. Red-backed voles comprised 53%, 56%, and 49% of all unique captures pre-fire (2009, 2014, and 2015, respectively) but only 8% and 6% post-fire (2017, 2018), whereas deermice comprise 24%, 11%, and 18% pre-fire but 76% and 75% post-fire. The remaining unique captures correspond to other species (Microtus spp., Neotamias amoenus, Sorex spp., Thomomys talpoides, Phenacomys intermedius, Zapus princeps, and Neotoma cinerea).
