The depicted alignment includes the ABC region (which contains the ABC supergene) and the neighboring F-locus region, plus 50 kb beyond the F-locus region to aid visual comparison. Axes indicate base-pair position along each respective haplotype. Dashed boxes denote the ABC supergene and F-locus region. This figure has been modified from a previously published figure (Fig 3 in [16]) to specifically compare the location and alignment structure of the ABC supergene and F-locus region.
