Relative abundance of ASVs that either perfectly matched the 16 S rRNA of the Campylobacteraceae genomes obtained in this study (100% identity) and other ASVs classified as Campylobacteraceae but with 99% identity or less. Amplicon data was analysed from 12 studies that sampled the rumen epithelia and were previously analysed together by Anderson et al.11. The same data from the amplicon reanalysis in Fig. 1a is also shown for comparison.
