Gadd45b deficiency attenuates CCl4-induced collagen accumulation in liver. Histopathological analysis using Pico-Sirius Red staining of liver sections from Gadd45b+/+ and Gadd45b−/− mice treated with sub-lethal doses of CCl4 in olive oil or olive oil control showed a significant decrease in collagen accumulation in CCl4 treated Gadd45b−/− mice as compared with their wild-type counterparts.
