Apoptosis assays in pATC cells. (A) pATC cell apoptosis after treatment with pazopanib or with its vehicle (dimethyl sulfoxide) alone for 24 h (by Hoechst 33342). A significant dose-dependent increase in the percentage of apoptotic cells was observed with pazopanib. Data are shown as the mean ± SD, and they were analyzed by one-way ANOVA (with Newman–Keuls multiple comparisons test and a linear trend test) (* p < 0.001 vs. control).
