Staining patterns for l-caldesmon (l-CaD; E–H), and h-caldesmon (h-CaD; I–L) in colorectal adenocarcinoma tissue assessed using immunohistochemical staining together with matching hematoxylin and eosin (H,E; A–D). l-CaD staining ranged from negative/weak (F,G) to strong (H) cytoplasmic staining of tumor cells.
