We conducted PCA using the fecal (AC) and ileal samples (D). Ellipses indicate an 80% confidence interval of each group. (A,B) In feces, PC2 values were statistically different between the two groups (**, p < 0.01, Student’s t test). (C) Factor loading for PC2 showed that the relative abundances of the genera Lachnospiraceae NK4A136 group and Alistipes contributed positively and negatively to the PC2 distribution, respectively. (D) In the ileum, PCA did not separate the two groups. Each group was composed of eight mice.
