(A) Brain cortex/plasma, (B) brainstem/plasma and (C) cerebrospinal fluid (CSF)/plasma at E19, P4 and adult after a single intravenous ( i.v.) injection of 0.15 mg/kg olanzapine (acute, white bar), with five day daily intraperitoneal ( i.p.) 0.15 mg/kg olanzapine treatment (prolonged, grey bars) or 0.03 mg/kg digoxin i.p. twice daily for 5 days (digoxin, yellow bars). In all experiments samples were collected 30–185min after the final maternal i.v. injection containing olanzapine with a radioactive tracer ([ 3H]olanzapine). Bars are means±SD.
