Preoperative MRI of the tumor. Axial (A,B) and sagittal (C) non–contrast-enhanced T1-weighted MRI shows a heterogeneously isointense mass in the upper quadrant lacrimal gland area of the left extra orbital eye. Axial (D,E) and coronal (F) T2-weighted MRI shows a hypointense mass. Axial (G,H) and sagittal (I) contrast-enhanced T1-weighted MRI reveals a significantly heterogenous enhancement, with marked involvement of the lateral wall of the left orbit and the left rectus muscle.
