Hallmarks of SSPCs aging. Nine hallmarks of aging have been identified: genomic instability, deregulated nutrient-sensing, telomere attrition, loss of proteostasis, epigenetic alteration, mitochondrial dysfunction, cellular senescence, stem cell exhaustion and chronic inflammation.
