The ncRNA mutant hid1 exhibits delayed germination under phyB-on conditions. A, Schematic illustration of phyB-on conditions. Seeds were exposed to continuous WL (50 μmol m−2 s−1) for 1 h before exposure to far-red light (FR) (5 μmol m−2 s−1) for 5 min (min) to inactivate phyB. The seeds were then irradiated with red light (R) (20 μmol m−2 s−1) for 5 min to activate phyB before incubation in the dark for the indicated time (5 days).
