Diet-induced obesity (DIO) affects house dust mite (HDM)-induced allergic airway inflammation and remodeling. Low-fat diet (LFD)- or high-fat diet (HFD)-fed mice were subjected to HDM sensitization and challenge to induce allergic airway inflammation. Bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluids were analyzed for total cell counts (A), IL-33 (B), IL-5 (C), and IL-13 (D).
