Protocol outline for CRISPR-Cas9-mediated genome editing in plants using viral vectors

Cas9-expressing N. benthamiana plants are agroinoculated with an RNA viral vector carrying a single guide RNA (sgRNA) fused to an RNA mobility element from A. thaliana Flowering locus T (tFT). Systemic viral infection results in germline genome editing and recovery of edited progeny.
