TAP-tagged strains and an untagged WT strain were UV-cross-linked and 1 mg of lysate was used in a round of total 2C-RNA extraction. Blots were probed against PAP antibody. The untagged WT strain was tested as a negative control for the western blot. Pab1-TAP and Pfk2-TAP were used as controls as wide range and long RNA binders, respectively. Tdh3-TAP, Fba1-TAP, Pgk1-TAP, Hxk2-TAP, Gpm1-TAP, Tpi1-TAP, and Eno1-TAP were tested as short RNA binders.
