Dietary Mg supplementation reduced plasmatic oxidative stress markers in rats with metabolic syndrome and 5/6 nephrectomy. Nx rats were fed a normal (0.1%) Mg diet or received a dietary Mg supplementation (0.6%). Sham-operated rats fed a normal P and Mg diet served as controls.
