DNA released into the medium by gonococcal strains MS11A (wild type), KS16 (traH mutant), KS59 (traG mutant), JD1510 (atlA mutant), JD1603 (an intergenic ID mutant), and HH518 (with traH complementation) during 5 h of growth. For comparison, the supernatant of MS11A was treated for 30 min with DNase.
