MDA levels in untreated HeLa cells and those treated with OESA and OESY. HeLa cells were cultured simultaneously and exposed to 0.4 and 0.2 mg/mL of OESA or OESY and H₂O₂ (0.2 mM) for 30 min. The MDA levels were evaluated by determining the thiobarbituric acid-reactive substances. The data are expressed in nmol/mg of protein (** p < 0.01, *** p< 0.001, **** p < 0.0001). Results are expressed as mean ± standard deviation (n = 3).
