iASPP suppresses but p53 increases CD44-mediated adhesion of fibroblasts. (A,B) AG1523 fibroblasts incubated with iASPP siRNA (A), p53 siRNA (B), or scramble siRNA, were pre-treated, or not, with hyaluronan and blocking CD44 antibody or PMA and then seeded (30,000 cells per well) and incubated for 30 min. Adhered cells were then visualized by staining with crystal violet and quantified by measurement of the absorbance at 570 nm.
