Each point represents a sample and its corresponding alpha diversity value is represented on the y-axis. A high alpha diversity value indicates high bacterial richness and/or evenness within the sample. Samples were aggregated into subgroups corresponding to the cohort, disease status, and sample type, as indicated in the x-axis.
