From left to right, mean betweenness centrality for photobionts and mycobionts ($B{C}_P$ and $B{C}_M$ respectively), modularity ($Q_B$) and whole nestedness (NODF). Null model metrics were calculated from 100 independent realizations of the network. P-values were obtained from t-test statistics in normally distributed variables ($Q_B$, NODF) or Mann-Whitney U rank non-parametric test in non-normally distributed data ($B{C}_P$ and $B{C}_M$).
