T1-weighted sagittal magnetic resonance image shows severe L5/S1 neural foraminal stenosis. Although there is visible perineural fat around L5 nerve root and nerve root is collapsed in only one direction, it should be determined as severe neural foraminal stenosis because of morphological changes in the compressed nerve root.
