Un-adjusted within groups changes (after intervention, T1 vs. after follow-up period, T2) are given as median (interquartile range). Intra-groups analysis (T1 vs. T2) employed a paired-sample Wilcoxon signed-rank test or paired-samples t test to determine the significance of differences. Intergroup analysis (InsP6 diet vs. non-InsP6 diet) employed analysis of covariances and comparison between groups after adjusting for dietary intervention levels to determine the significance of differences.
