For male and female mice, all relevant comparisons were analyzed using paired or unpaired Student’s t-tests as appropriate. t-tests were followed by Bonferroni correction where each p-value was multiplied by the total number of comparisons made, yielding an adjusted p-value. We also indicated whether the adjusted p-values were significant (<0.05).
