Combined chemical shift perturbation (Δδ) of the backbone 15N and 1HN resonances of PTB-34 upon binding of RNA. The absolute values of 15N and 1HN chemical shift changes are combined using this equation: Δδ(15N + 1HN) = │Δδ 15N│/4.69 + │Δδ 1HN│. The correction factor for 15N chemical shift changes is calculated as the ratio of the spectral width of the 15N versus that of the 1H (46,47).
