(a) The therapeutic efficacy of novel antibodies was determined in an orthotopic mice model of human breast cancer using MDA-MB-231 cells. Animals showed reduced tumor size in comparison to untreated controls, and significant tumor growth suppression was observed in animals treated with 11857 after 21 days of treatment. (b) A significant reduction in tumor growth rates was observed for antibody-treated animals throughout the 30-day treatment, whereas 11857 was the most active agent. Data are shown as mean ± standard deviation. Statistical analysis as two-way ANOVA, with a posthoc multiple comparisons using dunnett’s test. * p<0.05; ** p<0.01; *** p<0.001.
