This figure visualizes how focus on equity and livelihood improvements (or lack thereof) can affect equity, livelihoods and ecological/environmental outcomes of restoration. The figure builds on studies presented in this paper, and is limited to their findings and study approach. This figure provides a coarse overview of how social consideration can affect restoration outcomes, and we acknowledge that there are ample features and nuances of each project that are not captured in this visualization.
