Primate samples lacked information on brain pH AUD includes both DSM-IV diagnoses of alcohol abuse (two thirds of AUD cases) and alcohol dependence (one third of AUD cases). PMI stands for post-mortem interval or the # of hours since death until brain tissue was frozen or processed.
