Table 2.
EEG-RSN | RSN activity in AD and ADMCI | RSN activity in Healthy subjects | P-value |
---|---|---|---|
Occipital alpha activity | − 0.36 ± 1.0 | 0.0 ± 1.0 | 0.020 |
Visual perception network | − 0.076 ± 1.0 | 0.0 ± 1.0 | NS |
Self-referential network | 0.29 ± 1.2 | 0.0 ± 1.0 | NS |
Memory network | − 0.74 ± 0.89 | 0.0 ± 1.0 | < 0.001 |
Sensorimotor network | − 0.054 ± 0.92 | 0.0 ± 1.0 | NS |
Data are mean ± standard deviation of z-scores of EEG-RSN activities after healthy age-related changes were corrected using linear regression analysis. RSN, resting state network; AD, Alzheimer’s disease; ADMCI, Mild cognitive impairment due to AD; NS, not significant. The differences between age-corrected RSN activities of the patients (90 AD and 11 ADMCI) and 147 healthy subjects were assessed by independent Student’s t-test with Holm correction.
