Table 2.

Z-scores of EEG resting-state network (RSN) activities in AD and ADMCI patients, and healthy subjects.

EEG-RSN RSN activity in AD and ADMCI RSN activity in Healthy subjects P-value
Occipital alpha activity − 0.36 ± 1.0 0.0 ± 1.0 0.020
Visual perception network − 0.076 ± 1.0 0.0 ± 1.0 NS
Self-referential network 0.29 ± 1.2 0.0 ± 1.0 NS
Memory network − 0.74 ± 0.89 0.0 ± 1.0  < 0.001
Sensorimotor network − 0.054 ± 0.92 0.0 ± 1.0 NS

Data are mean ± standard deviation of z-scores of EEG-RSN activities after healthy age-related changes were corrected using linear regression analysis. RSN, resting state network; AD, Alzheimer’s disease; ADMCI, Mild cognitive impairment due to AD; NS, not significant. The differences between age-corrected RSN activities of the patients (90 AD and 11 ADMCI) and 147 healthy subjects were assessed by independent Student’s t-test with Holm correction.
