Anti-CD3 induced proliferation in splenic T cells. Splenocytes were suspended in RPMI medium 1640 supplemented with L-glutamine, penicillin/streptomycin, and 10% FBS and cultured in triplicates in wells of 96-well plates previously coated with different concentrations of anti-CD3 antibodies. After 72 h of culture, proliferation was assessed by [3H]thymidine uptake assay.
