The table displays genes that were differentially expressed in mammary gland tumors. The criteria for selection of these genes are described in the Methods section. A total of 900 (275 mouse NCI 2.7K and 625 GEM1 8.7K) were modulated two–fold. The ESTs and unnamed genes were excluded from this list. The named genes were grouped into cellular pathways using GENECARDS (http://bioinformatics.weizmann.ac.il) and by extensive review of literature. The top row denotes the tumor type. For each gene, the intensity ratios of the cognate spots in each tumor group were averaged. Every two–fold induction is shown by a "+" symbol and two fold suppression by a "- " symbol. No change in expression is denoted by "=". All blank spaces denote insufficient sample/feature data.
