Intracellular localization of G72 candidate gene products. Costaining experiments of transiently transfected COS-7 cells localize a pLG72 C-terminal hemagglutinin (HA)-tagged fusion protein (a) and the nontagged pLG72 protein (b), mainly to the Golgi apparatus. Indirect immunodetections were performed with either an anti-HA antibody or a purified anti-LG72-peptide antibody and FITC-coupled second antibodies (green fluorescence) (1). For each staining, untransfected cells were used as a control. The Golgi apparatus was identified with the help of wheat germ agglutinin Alexa 594 conjugate (red fluorescence) (2). Resulting green and red fluorescences were superposed (1 + 2).
