Cyclin B1-associated kinase activity fails to be inhibited in Chk1-siRNA treated cells after IR. Cells were mock-transfected or transfected with Chk1-siRNA for 36 h and then either mock- or g-irradiated. After 1 h, cyclin B1 was immunoprecipitated, and histone H1 kinase assays were performed in vitro. The activity of Cdc2/cyclin B1 from mock-irradiated samples was set at 100, and values for irradiated samples are shown relative to this. Error bars represent the standard deviation after combining results from at least three experiments.
