Northern blot analysis of clone CTAGE-1 (se14-2). The product of a RT-PCR using CTAGE-1-specific primers and the isolated plasmid as the template was employed for generating a radioactive probe. Arrowheads indicate label of 28s and 18s rRNA for size approximation. Medium sized arrows indicate 4-kb and 1.3-kb bands, whereas the large arrows in the last lane label the additional bands at 2.3 kb and 500 bp. The small arrow points towards the 4-kb band in the SeAx cell line, which may be present as well, but is hard to detect because of the lower load of RNA (cf. GAPDH signal below).
