Analytical ultracentrifugation of MS1-N14E. The data were fit to a monomer--trimer--hexamer equilibrium. Upper illustrates data at pH 6, and Lower illustrates data at pH 8. The fit at pH 6 indicates that very little hexamer is formed. The data at pH 8 again show deviations from an ideal fit for a monomer--trimer--hexamer equilibrium.
