Supporting Figure 6

Fig. 6. Polymorphisms in the promoter, 5' untranslated regions, and first intron of the Mus spretus and Mus musculus Tgfb1 alleles. The two transcription start sites (T1 and T2) are indicated, as is the ATG start codon and the 5' end of the first intron. Polymorphisms between M. spretus and M. musculus alleles are highlighted in gray. Potential transcription factors binding sites, as indicated, were identified by literature search (1), and by using the software program PATCH (http://www.gene-regulation.com/pub/programs.html#patch).

Supporting Table 2

Table 2. Interaction between chromosome 7 and 12 affecting skin papilloma development. Two different interactions between pairs of loci were detected, as shown by P values in bold: (a) between chromosome 7 at 14.4 Mb (Skts14) and chromosome 12 at 17.7 Mb (Skts15), and (b) between chromosome 7 at 39.3 Mb (Skts1) and chromosome 12 at 34.1Mb (Skts5). Negative binomial regression analysis was used to screen interacting loci as reported previously (1).
