Fig. 6. C-Jun N-terminal kinase 1 (JNK1) is not required in myeloid cells for production of proinflammatory cytokines. Bone marrow cells from wild-type and Jnk1^-/- mice were incubated with necrotic hepatocytes for 4 h, and cellular RNA was extracted. Relative expression of the indicated genes (the level in nontreated myeloid cells was given an arbitrary value of 1.0) was determined by real-time quantitative PCR (Q-PCR). Results are means ± SE (n = 3).
