RNAs were isolated from mouse adrenal glands obtained from control mice (Y1+/+) Y1, Y2, and Y5 knockout mice (Y1-/-, Y2-/-, and Y5-/-). Samples without RNA were included as negative controls (raw H2O). The adrenal glands from Y1-/- mice still express Y2 and Y5 receptors, those fromY2-/- mice express Y1 and Y5 receptors, those fromY5-/- mice express Y1 and Y2 receptors. Wild-type (Y1+/+) mice express Y1, Y2, and Y5 receptors.
